    A REALLY Stupid question.....

Hey all. My 3.8 Litre VS Ute....... I'm using 91 octane petrol. Is E10/94 Octane ok to run as well? Or is it bad for a 30 year old vehicle?

    Scary moment in my Ute.....

Ive never changed my gears so I'm guessing its a stock ratio. Mine is a S trim level. Not sure what that is.

    Scary moment in my Ute.....

THanks for that! I've used a dial indicator before to measure backlash on a DSG clutch I have to replace on a Mk7 VW Golf. A quick google video shows me how to measure the gear backlash it and it looks much easier than the VW I worked on. Any reason why I should not replace the axle seals while...

    Scary moment in my Ute.....

So stopped on a steep hill at a rad light in the rain. Light turns green and I can't go! ZERO traction and giving the gas and the car would jsut turn sideways. Brand new Goodyear Tyres. Some nice kids stopped and gave me a push. My question... what is the easiest way to put LSD into the rear...

Lot of Great Help and O2 Sensor Problems!

I will check the live data and see what the temp the computer says. THanks for that info. Both the O2 sensors were replaced and the coolant temp sensor not long ago when I was having another problem. Will check!

Lot of Great Help and O2 Sensor Problems!

Hi All. A while back my car was running rich on one bank and lean on the other. Someone shared a post with me on grounding some wires at the ECU to fix this problem. I can't seem to find that info. Anyone know where I can find that? My car now runs perfect after grounding the wires. I did...

    Engine Scanning....

Hey! I have 2 scanners here but can't get any live data (or even codes) on it. Both of my scanners are for OBD2 systems. I'm guessing that the ECU in the 1997 VS Ute (V6) is not an OBD system. What do i need to scan this vehicle?
