I've got the exact same issue and I'm fairly sure it's leaking from the same spot as OP. Since I got dual fual how do I remove the plenum when it's got all the LPG stuff on it?
I'm now wondering if it was just coolant I spilled when doing a coolant change a month ago that got diluted and rinsed out when I washed my car today... since I just hosed the bay down now and no longer seems to be leaking..
Reservoir is on drivers side no? Already put new genuine cap on a couple of months ago due to an overheating issue I was having (didn't fix it unfortunately)
Any idea what this could be? It's leaking from behind where the fog light is (see my avatar pic), next to the radiator down low somewhere. Passenger side.
Something I've wondered is what happens if you drive on lpg until empty? Does it switch to petrol automatically? If so how much lpg is still in the tank when it happens? I've always manually switched it once it flashes and beeps to signal it's near empty.
Okay thanks. These don't seem to carry too much pressure. I would assume with engine off theres low pressure in them, especially considering the gas leaks from them for a few minutes after engine is off after that I would assume there's no pressure at all. Looks like simple fuel hoses and...
Well I think I found the leak. There's tiny pin prick holes on two hoses near the clamps, along that hose that has a t piece connector on it. Can I replace these myself? I can hear the lpg hissing out of it and smell it, and can physically feel it when I put my finger over the hole. In 2nd pic...
Ah this was south west regional vic to gold coast going thru dubbo etc. Only passed a few LPG pumps along the way. I could have pulled up a servo map on my phone I suppose and would've been alright.
At some point I doubt we will be able to even find a servo with a LPG pump in the near future. Did a 10000km drive thru Australia and struggled finding any, had to use petrol for most of the trip.
It's the o ring on the oil pick up not sealing properly and so it causes low oil pressure issues. If you turn the car off right as it happens then turn it back on there should be enough pressure and the noise won't be there. I'm fairly sure anyway. There's a few youtube vids and threads here...
Thanks guys appreciate the information. What price range should it be to have an LPG specialist service it and possibly recertify it (doesn't seem to have ever been recertified since there's nothing stamped on the plate other than the factory stamp).
Thanks. It's duel fuel so I'd assume if injectors were leaking I'd also smell petrol while on petrol but I don't. Is there a diagram of what hoses are for the LPG?
