I dont see the logic in fitting a 6 into an 8 ... First up I think it destroys the integrity of the vehicle ... 2nd up LS1's must be a dime a dozen in the US and cheap to purchase... In fact its probably the best place to be to convert a 6 to an 8 even . This is where I say blasphemy ! to commit...
Seems like Holden didnt do well in the headlight manufacturing dept ... Im surprised that VF model owners are having issues I would of thought they sorted it after the VT /VX ... I have a VX and use the Narva plus 200's they are a big improvement on factory but im wondering if theres aftermarket...

Ive had one side of the actual hazard button switch clip break and the switch float around , I glued the switch temporarily and bought another hazard switch which I havent bothered fitting as the glue is holding and I cant be bothered removing the facia shell (its working so why bother...lol)...
Mine gets used as a daily... its 'hold'en up well.... just cant bring myself to drive anything else.... very happy with it... Still very tidy for its age.... lol

Hard to know where to start... easier to sort when you have it in front of you...could be initial timing ....and as the timing advances its smoothing out....
If they are spec'd for the ute ..use em... theyre brake rotors and they are rears..so wont be doing as much work as the fronts . Just check the 3mm doesnt cause any problem run the wheelnuts in to firmly hold the rotor in place and fit the caliper check theres sufficient clearance by spinning...

I liked the HQ ....pull the v8 engine and trans out the front without too much drama .... liked the powersteer on the HG v8 and the way it handled reminded me of a mk3/4 Cortina...But the problem I remember with many Holden v8 powersteers is the car tended to start floating when you got up...
Best Ive had from my V8 is 11.4 L/100k's (very long trip) ....its usually 12.6L (city) ...but when I get heavy on the pedal can run to 13.4L ... Pretty sure the settings can be tweaked via a tune .... which requires plug in ... Not sure but it might be possible to reset it by disconnecting...
Find a grunty round speaker magnet and tape or glue it to the sump around the plug hole Step drill the bolt... collapse it in on itself or drill it right out and either re tap the standard thread or find a larger diameter sump plug and tap a new thread... plug the hole with a cork or whatever...
