Hi again, i ran a test light onto the purple wire and it is powered when i apply the brakes, that is good news and will make for an easy fitting of the redarc controller.
Hi fellas, i am just about to buy a Redarc and fit it, i found the coupling next to the battery it has a blue wire and a purple which i presume is the brake supply (purple) and brake output to trailer plug (blue wire) i'll let you know how i go
Hi Daniel, i saw your post regarding fitting a trailer brake controller, you say there are two wires near the battery with the factory wiring for the towbar. I am about to purchase a redarc tow pro elite to fit, just wondering did you fit one and use the wires you described near the battery?
