VE Calais V International - build numbers

I have an unexpected update! I contacted Holden with my question not really expecting any reply. The next day, they did reply with what kind of felt like a standard 'we'll look into it' response. Then a few days later, another reply requesting my VIN. I expected they would need it to confirm...

VE Calais V International - build numbers

Spewing hey. Considering the amount of cars they sell, a 500 run is pretty special IMO. Hahaha dgp. Screw brand loyalty, right :P I think they've lost everyone with the future changes anyway...

VE Calais V International - build numbers

Hi all, I've owned my Calais V International for a year now and absolutely love it. Being a special edition model has lead me to do some research on the badge and I have discovered that there were only 500 units built. Unfortunately, this is where the research comes to an abrupt stop. It...

Just bought a VY Calais, what to do on it?

This x100! I've done a few things to my VY II Calais like 18" wheels, tints and head unit to keep it comfortable and cruisey but as your first car, make sure you keep maintenance up to scratch, good tyres on her, give it a nice polish and enjoy the old girl ;)

    How about emergency services workers?

I'm in the RFS and as others have said, there is no training requirement for a regular member. However, keeping a solid fitness level would only be an advantage to you. You could be behind a hose (lol) for hours on end without much of a break. That being said, my captain a big boy haha! As in...

    steering wheel controls malfunction

Mine occasionally does it and I have the series 2 squishy buttons. I find that if my down vol does the wrong function I just have to press the down vol once on the headunit itself and the steering wheel button works again. I have a pioneer HU with a module to make the SWC buttons work. Not...

    VY Towbar Wiring Picture Request

Yep as I said in the first post, I already have the plug, I'm just unsure where to put it. Does the trailer loom go into a spare plug? Or am I to replace an existing plug with the trailer loom? I'm a visual learner - any picture evidence would be great!

    VY Towbar Wiring Picture Request

Hi there, Bought a second hand tow bar for my Calais today. Came with wiring harness and I'm going to be installing it myself when I get a spare moment. After doing some research on the installation process, I decided to pull back the boot carpet (drivers side) to have a look for the...

VZ SS UTE Air conditioning - Manual / climate control - HOT Air only? - what's wrong?

Am also getting the same problem. Haven't tried the auto setting yet but I only get cool air when on 'C'. Anything else and it's hot! Any tips? I often get the little 'x' on the display. Could that be related?
