    Rear Passenger floor flooding

You can usually get the seat bottom trim from Holmart ( but that's Vic, there's something likely closer for you). I've got one from eBay and it was OK too. Assuming you mean the plastic that houses the seat controls on RHS - if so, bloody common for it to crack.

    Rear Passenger floor flooding

Image below is what can happen. I've since replaced all four speakers. Hope the link works. https://forums.justcommodores.com.au/attachments/img_1725-jpeg.265294/ Yes, if you think the butyl looks even a little bit suspect then i'd replace the lot (in that door). This way you start with a nice...

    Rear Passenger floor flooding

Yeah that door seems to be in reasonable nick. Butyl looks black and 'moist' (which is good). Check that butyl strip down the bottom of the door/plastic as that's where most of the gunk will get and eventually break down the butyl. Your speaker doesn't look shot from here either (big give-away...

    Rear Passenger floor flooding

If you want to stop the water, now and the future - do it properly. Plastic sheeting (dust/water seals) are available from Holden if yours are ripped etc. They are also available as an aftermarket 'general sizing' from Car Builders. The Holden ones (although ridiculously priced) are better as...

No probs. You're certainly not the first and won't be the last! Sorry that this is not my area. Hope you get it sorted.

    Ve sv6 U0100 error

Hiya, It would likely help you and others if your post subject was almost anything other than "Need help please". Remember, this is the web and people 'scan', rather than 'study'. There are some very knowledgeable folk in many areas here, and also 'guns' in specific areas. You are far more...

    Rear wiper

Yeah i've seen similar styles on lots of vehicles. They are great when new. I knew mine was on the way out when it started double-clicking (unlock/lock/unlock in one action). I originally had it fixed under warranty, twice... (long time ago now) and fixed it myself, twice... then it just didn't...

    Rear wiper

Mine used to do this as well. I'm pretty sure it's the original touchpad setup, as I have since installed a button and it has not happened since. The touchpads in these vehicles wear badly and become next to useless, they get very wet (either rain or washing) and don't shed it.

    2008 VE Calais-V

Those pins - ouch! Late to the conversation... but yeah leave it there. It CAN be fixed (there are a few that do this - you take out the unit and send it to them) assuming you're leaving your orig head unit there. From what i can gather, these OH/DVD players were not the best quality and after...

    VE door speakers mounting depth

Nice clean door - like it! I am, however, a bit disappointed that you didn't wipe the top of that speaker bracket! Look at the dust! Tsk tsk. ;) Yes, the VE door design is not the best for water shedding. One of the keys is to keep the drain holes unblocked. Its not sexy work, but it's...

    VE door speakers mounting depth

Better to ask a stupid question than to make a stupid mistake.;) Wasn't stupid anyway, sometimes we need to ask seemingly stupid questions to get the light bulb on. Done it heaps of times! Glad you got it worked out.

    VE door speakers mounting depth

Yes, I was a bit surprised myself. I have a feeling speaker connections today must have a different coating, or something of that nature... All I know is that when I tried to remove the connector - the whole lot came away. Here was I thinking that the speaker not working was a simple...

    VE door speakers mounting depth

When window seals are good and plastic dust/water cover is young, not a problem. Below is what happens when water runs the wrong way/is blocked etc etc. This is the drivers side door stock speaker: I found the rest of the speakers similar. The rears were only slightly better. The door itself...

    VE door speakers mounting depth

The mounting depth (on my Alpine's (S-S65) is 57.7mm, and I have the rear of the speaker protected from internal door water splash with a foam cover that would be about 5mm min. So not sure where 32mm is coming from? Of course, I had to ensure I didn't impede the window lifter or glass itself...
