VS Dual Fuel - Stalling on LPG only

As jxw said, check your codes first and foremost. Also, check the integrity of all your hoses/lines to and from your mixer/converter. LPG is very sensitive to vacuum leaks.

Have you checked for any fault codes? That's probably the best way to start.

    how low can i go..?

Lowering your vehicle by up to 50mm is fine provided you retain a minimum of 100 mm ground clearance. I'm not going to get into an argument with vr 38. That's the law. Have a read of VSI 50. It's on the RTA website.

    how low can i go..?

Most states of Australia state that you can legally go 50mm up or down from the standard vehicle height. Any more than that and it must be engineered. You must at least have 100mm clearance from the lowest point under your car to the ground. We are lucky with Commodores because FE2 was an...

    v6 overheating

Are you just going by the gauge, or is the engine physically overheating? Try an infrared thermometer aimed at various parts of the engine, hoses, side tanks, thermostat housing etc and see what readings you get.

    Another starting issue VS LPG

Try starting and stopping on petrol. This also keeps the fuel pump and injectors in good condition. If your gas system is an Impco I have already explained in another thread how to richen up the gas mixture a bit. See below. From memory sprintgas is very similar to Impco. (Sprintgas is...

[General] [VS-VY] How to change Crank Angle Sensor (CAS) with PICS

Hey Benmo, The key is a small rectangular piece of steel that lives in a slot machined into the crankshaft snout (the bit that pokes out the front of the engine) If you look inside the bore of your hamonic balancer you will see another machined slot. In this case it goes the full length of the...

Vs has backfire and idle problems

From memory sprintgas is very similar to Impco. (Sprintgas is Australian and Impco is American) Have a look on the mixer (this will be in the inlet tract and will have a thick rubber pipe joined to it) On the mixer there should be an adjustment knob, usually a circle with 2 flats machined in it...
