Hi guys, I bought the gear that normally breaks , oped em the cluster and that gear is NOT broken but I still don't have an odometer or trip, could it be the speedo cable?

Yeah I had already reflowed all solder joints, I found it was the black main plug which connects to the cluster , just bent the female connector a bit closer together so it was a nice snug fit ! Works well guys thanks again for input.

Ok guys thanks very for all input and have taken all on board , as I took the dash cluster out to do mods I did as jxw said and cleaned all contacts plugs and bits and now it all works pwr button works !!

Ok I shall look at ecu connections again, which solenoid would it be the clutch or the kick down?

Hi guys , ok I found out that my auto does go into 4th gear but then I believe when I release power(off) button it should drop from 2200 rpm to about 1900 rpm, but it doesn't it says at 2200 rpm weather I push the pwr button in or out, ( the pwr light comes on and off ) Any help pls

Ok thought I know the little gear inside the dash the odometer does not work but the speed does will that little gear make it not go into overdrive?

Hi guys I've read about the vl auto box not kicking back , now I've done the suggested tricks like the detent switch and it does kickdown but only low speeds , when im doing 100 it won't kickback at all, any suggestions?

Hi no not p plater, how much will it cost average to put turbo on, and will it fit, as I've seen the 86 model doesn't have the oil and cooling holes? Is this true?

Hi guys thank for all the info, I pulled the dash out and soldered the fuel gauge terminals an d now works a treat , so all problems (so far) have been fixed! Awesome site guys thanks

well the hose thing on the swicth above the pedel that worked awesome thanks guys , now trying to get the fuel gauge to work ,it reads 1/4 tank sometimes but then will just drop, read a bit on these and need to know how to pull the dash apart to get the cluster out, any help
