yeah check O2 sensors. That's crazy as fuel consumption. I average about 13.8 to 14.5with a cam.

Enough oil in the box? When was it last serviced? Starting issue could also be IAC gummed up with ****. but checking leads, plugs n gaps and coils won’t hurt. Those could packs do have a tendencies to **** themselves.

Taking the battery off or a flat battery will cause the ecu to lose the learning it has done for engine and transmission. I myself have had issues with the transmission after a flat battery. After a few drives it sorts itself out. So yes, it resets it.

yeah cam is subjective. Depends on brand and application you are working with.
