Yeah motor will eventually go into vk its auto th350, 9inch 3.5's, club rego currently, early heads that have had a bit of work done. Carby will be whatever is required. The old man trying to find the paperwork he has for the motor then will probably have to go see someone as to anymore work...

Got 308 block from my dad been sitting for 20 years with crank pistons fitted. Im going to use it was assembled with all good stuff plenty of lube still looks like new. My question would the weight from crank etc leave mark or indent in main and rod bearings or would they still be fine? Will end...

From what I can find there is no difference in strut tower/assembly from a 6 to 8. Does anyone have a definite answer or disagree?

Hi guys, The valve stem seals have gone in my 308. Wondering if anyone has used the umbrella type seals or anything other than standard just seems a little oring type thing wouldn't really do much. Any information greatly appreciated.

Dont no alot about motor was taken out of another car. i pulled it down new gaskets. It had flat tops, balanced bottom end just a mild cam (tq20). heads have l34 valves. Had been rebuilt and left sitting very little work at all.

Will check timing pretty sure it's good. Will be looking into dizzy and as to if all working etc. Motor hasn't been in car that long to really notice any changes in fuel economy. I only run bp ultimate 98 in all my vehicle. Thanks for responses was also wondering if quaddy may be to lean in...
