I first got my SSV a little over 3 years ago. when i purchased it, it had a small amount of work done (exhaust, walkinshaw growler style intake, 20 in rims and lowered springs and shocks). It made 270 rwhp. The below photo was a couple of months after buying her.
I drove her around with the...
Series 1 SSV. Changed the l98 to an ls3 with ls7 heads and top end gear, 233 233 cam, tr6060 box and new twin place ceramic clutch, lots of other stuff as well.
It's not a daily driver as I have a work ute, Moore of a weekender. I would just lie to create a 600+ hp NA weapon. S/C or turbo is always an option at a later date but I would like to try not too.
Yea the vz ss rims in black really set it off. Ill get a couple of photos with the black roof...
Brought my ute 12 months ago stock as a rock. It is a vy ss ute in hot house green.
Since buying it I have done little mods here and there to make it more visually appealing.
Current mods (to date): vz ss 18" rims in black, duel 2.5 cat back system (soon to have tri-y's and high flow cats)...
Also on sssl springs and aftermarket shocks all round. Gloss black vinyl wrapped roof. New (exchange) power steering rack. Aftermarket pioneer headunit.
