    VS ALDL connector

    Hi All How should the ALDL connector be wired in? I ask as i have a vehicle that has had an engine conversion and i have been told that the local workshops can't access the ecu.. I want to hard wire the connector to solve this.

    New project flares...

    Project complete. Took a good few days as the front was a piece of cake.. However the rears i had to modify as i could see where the 20s were rubbing. Makes a more aggressive look similar to the VE series.

    I would be interested to know also. Sadly I doubt if they can be used as it would be from IRS to live axle??

    Autometer dash conversion.

    I have always found metal easier to work with than fibre glass. Plus with the metal i was able to weld in nuts to make mounting easier.

    Thanks for the lead. I wanted to go the high flow oil pump as the 304 does have a vortech blower plus all the soon to be added cooling parts.

    Today my set of flares arrived. They are 45mm at the front and 55mm in the back. They even came with bolts and nuts. I just mocked them up to get an idea of shape and line. I think i will pick a height along the utes side and make that the same for at the front and rear and work down from...

    I am pretty sure that the ss sedan would be an IRS setup with the rear suspension and diff. The wagon should have the same setup as your ute. Just pop your head under your ute then compare to the wagon and sedan and you will understand. Before you ask if you can change the ute rear to an irs...

    Autometer dash conversion.

    It's 3 or 5 mm gal sheet with a carbon wrap. Its just too thick to cut with snips. I ended up getting stuck into it with a grinder then a dremal.
