    Heavy duty driveshafts.

    Ive found 3rd gear grunt skids with blown LS1 has not surprisingly exceeded what Repco NSA 148 shafts can put up with. Grindey noises and bolts on angles, hard to undo on outers. Whats the alternative to $3600 Pedders? Does anyone know the part number of the fabled bigger 6ltr VZ driveshafts...

    285 kW flash into VY2 SS ute, goes slower.

    Did a search onsite for this, surprised no hits, so here goes. Put 285kW HSV flash into my VY2 SS ute with airbox mods, cat back 2 1/2 exhaust. Now takes a full second longer to get from 2000 rpm to 5000 rpm in 3rd gear, flat ground. And don't feel the 'surge' in power from about 3800 like it...

    Hi all. Got a VY2 SS ute that's pretty-well on its' guts. Doing a few engine mods, one of which is extractors. Need to know what sort NOT to buy for ground clearance. Done a search through threads, nothing mentions this, but I recall recently reading here some-one saying Pacemakers ( I think)...
