Hey all. My vx has started making this clunking noise when driving. Doesn't matter what speed, just does it at random. Is coming from the front of the car. Can also feel it in the car when it does it. Not too sure how to explain the noise besides a clunking sort of noise if that helps

It happened randomly last night, thought it may of been a car in front but it was mine. Then when I got home, turned it off it stank from the engine. Bout to take it for a drive for lunch, will see what happens :S

In my VZ I had my dual kickers mounted straight into the boot carpet. May seem 'dodgy' I guess, but it holds them in. Didn't have any issues with a RWC either, as it's still classed as secure and they don't move.

Yeah all appropriate. 8 gauge should be enough for them. Grounded fine. Remote wire fine. RCAs fine. Speaker wires fine. No wires touching each other etc. Only cuts out when the volume is up high, but has being able to hit that volume for months without any issues.

Thanks mate for clearing that up. Don't get me wrong it sits really nice with the Ultras/SSSL's in it, but it's on 19's so isn't as low as it could be if that makes sense. But don't want to put stockies on :P Yeah might have to look into Airbags just such a waste of money could do better things...

It's a lil crossover box probably 5-7cm high, 3-4 cm wide
