I just moved from a VE SV6 to VF Calais V and find the ride much smoother, and the seat a lot more comfortable to sit, but I have not sat for a long trip yet - only picked it up on Tuesday and done 400km in total lol

I know that feeling - I have a dealer 2km away that I have vowed that the only way my car would go back there is on the back of a tilt tray. I drive 70 minutes to get the car serviced - Why? Because they do a great job and are reliable!

I have a brand new VF Calais V sedan and it came with a full sized spare alloy, so I wonder if being a sportswagon is the reason they have a space saver?

Thanks. Getting the car in Sydney, but local dealer is clueless (Maybe he knows I'd never deal with them lol), and did not even know there was anything else except a 1600kg towbar. Now to look for a decent electric brake kit for the car, as the one in my old VE was OK and did the job, but...

Pick up my Calais V next week after 10 years with a VZ then VE SV6 (Yes former username here was MYSV6, but cant access the account anymore grrr). Enjoying reading about all the quirks in the new car, and don't know what I'll think when I get the new one - I still have not driven in one yet lol

I pick my new VF Calais V up next week, and I got the 2100kg Towbar option fitted. My current VE has the 1600kg towbar, and being an auto it can actually tow 2100kg anyway, so what's the difference between the 1600kg and 2100kg towbar direct from the dealer?
