Because high/low level converters are the very definition of garbage, I don't suppose there's a way that an enterprising person could pull the unit apart & easily tap into internal wiring which ARE the low level outputs?

He’s stopped doing normal cars now so I can‘t recommend him, but our mechanic did the lining in our VS along with the yearly rego check & service a few years back … I suspect you could get a lot of places to do it, do you have a regular mechanic to ask?

Did you clarify that they weren't confused? I ask because Holden were VERY LOUD about the optional HF20's as being forged ... and the person who told you might have gotten confused because VF2 Redline had cast alloys which looked near identical to the forged VF1 MY15-only Redline alloys ... so...
