MY15 SV6 Rear bumper popping out

Hi all, Bit of an odd one - but I purchased my SV6 approx. a year ago and have noticed that the rear bumper is popping out from the brackets that are situated under the tail lights which is driving me nuts (I'm a perfectionist). I've recently replaced said brackets, the left side is fixed, but...

Seems my VE is burning oil.. but no visible leak

Just water, but left to air dry - used compressed air to make sure it was completely dry before reinstalling

Seems my VE is burning oil.. but no visible leak

G'day all, I finally managed to tackle the PCV valve today and also completely forgot to take photos of the PCV valve once I got it out of the car cause it was being stubborn, or I was being weak? I don't know What I pulled out, much to my surprise, really wasn't as much oil sludge as I was...

Seems my VE is burning oil.. but no visible leak

I did think about that after I posted - it hasn't had the chains replaced as far as I'm aware - guess I'll do this valve fix and see how it goes. Will report back here when done with some findings

Seems my VE is burning oil.. but no visible leak

Because I really can't be bothered having my head in the engine bay for a minute longer - do you think if I change to 10W-40 oil and monitor from there would be the best way to go about it in the interim? If that doesn't fix the issue of whatever oil I'm burning, then look at the PCV valve? The...

Seems my VE is burning oil.. but no visible leak

I’ve just read your post from a few years ago - will definitely be giving it a go! Can you just buy a new one and drill the holes in it? Just to save cleaning the old one?

Seems my VE is burning oil.. but no visible leak

Yeah 5W-30 seems to be too thin for the Holden V6 engines, 10W-40 would appear to possibly be the sweet spot

Seems my VE is burning oil.. but no visible leak

I did see a thread on here somewhere that suggested moving up a grade to a thicker oil like 10W-40 so I might give that a crack at the next service in a months time

Seems my VE is burning oil.. but no visible leak

Almost 100% city driving Can't say I've noticed smoke - certainly haven't noticed a burning smell through the air vents. My dad was following me the other day and said he didn't see any smoke from my exhaust.

Seems my VE is burning oil.. but no visible leak

Hi all, Heading is the summary of this post - I had a check oil warning on the dash on my VE Omega the other day, thought it was the oil pressure sensor but turns out my car is burning or losing oil. There is no visible leak underneath the car, the oil filter, or engine block. I topped it up...

MY10 Omega Sportswagon Oil Pressure Sensor issue

The problem was fixed because I found too many threads with the same issue - and as it turns out, I only needed to top up the oil in my car.

All good, thanks mate - I've ended up just popping them out and putting silicone around them to hopefully seal them off. Cheers

VE wagon roof leak in cargo area ?

Sorry to bring up an old thread but my wagon is doing the same thing and I suspect it's coming from these rubber sleeves, any ideas on where I can get new ones? Or at least what they're called? Cheers

The cowl panel is not seating flush with the windscreen

Hi all - have this problem on my series 1 Omega - outer edge of the cowling on both sides is cracked and the rubber seal has perished as well. Been in contact with a dealer here in Adelaide who have said GM don't make the cowling for the series 1 and only have the series 2 available. Could I get...

    Omega front/rear bumper "extension"

Awesome, thanks mate! I can only find the side skirts and rear bumper addons on that site though? Again, I'm probably not looking hard enough haha

    Omega front/rear bumper "extension"

That's awesome. As you said, it's a HSVi Sports pack which isn't produced anymore.. oh well! Might just have to slap a SV6 bumper on it!

    Omega front/rear bumper "extension"

Hi _R_J_K_, Yeah I'm aware of the sports armour protectors but these look like additional attachments to the bumpers. I've ascertained that they aren't HSV parts. The looking continues! Cheers

    Omega front/rear bumper "extension"

Hi all, Just a query regarding the front and rear bumpers on the series 1 Omega. I know I can slap on a SV6 bumper to make it look "lower". But I was scrolling through carsales (as I do!) And found the attached car. As you can see, it has these "extenders" attached to the front bumper (as...
