    Issues with Subwoofer Power

Just tried it on the RDO fuse. Same thing, as soon as I started the car had an issue. Starting to wonder if its a problem with the sub itself. Will buy a multimeter after work I think and test everything.. running out of possibilities.

    Issues with Subwoofer Power

Hey team, No progress on this yet. I have spoken with a car audio fella today who has suggested that it could be the remote wire causing the issue. It is currently plug into the RAP ACC fuse. Is this appropriate or would I be better used the RDO (assume this is Radio Fuse) or the CAMERA IGN...

    Issues with Subwoofer Power

Since no RCA is from factory head unit I had to tap into speaker wires in door. So I assume a Line Out Convertor would boost this back to RCA pre-amps? Thats my understanding of it? Almost there... just want to be sure before spending more then I have to.

    Issues with Subwoofer Power

Wired it to the shell. Seems to have no issues now thank you! Just seems very quiet bass wise now, even with Gain near full (and avoiding using vass boost). Even though it has a SP Line input, thinking a Line Output Convertor may be the way and switch it to RCA. Thoughts on this? Just want to...

    Issues with Subwoofer Power

Thats what I've installed... but.... the plug itself into the sub (built in amp) is a much smaller wire and this is the loom provided by Pioneer for it. So I did find this odd and put it down as possibly an advance in tech lol

    Issues with Subwoofer Power

Makes sense. I'll give this a go tomorrow. The sub only has a 12ga wire (if even that) coming from it. Is it worth mounted the 8ga to the chassis near it then the amp wire to the chassis nearby in the meantime? I still find it odd that it went for a couple of hours last night with not an issue...

    Issues with Subwoofer Power

I did wonder about the ground to be honest. Might look at putting this to the chassis. Wires are all pretty tight and joined well and re-wired it today to make sure. It will do it when the cars running but when turned off suddenly is fine. Loose wire was my first thought so spent the day making...

    Issues with Subwoofer Power

Oh also Sub is 1300w max (300rms) running off a 20amp curcuit if that helps.

    Issues with Subwoofer Power

With doors open, install etc. I did manage to active a Battery Saver mode on the dash last night. But I did drive it after this. I'm thinking of putting a 2 farad capacitor in. The car does currently have a Thor Heavy Duty battery but I may also replace this later with Optima later since I have...

    Issues with Subwoofer Power

Hello All! First time here and having some trouble with a Amp/Sub Hookup. I just recently purchase a Pioneer TS-WX1210A and install this weekend. Sub has a built in amp and runs on 20 amps. I have run 8 guage directly from battery in the boot for both the positive and the ground (figured this...
