Hi On my VR Caprice, the reverse lights trigger however don't stay on whilst in gear (reverse). I assume its the switch on the gear leaver, however, has anyone had the same issue? Thanks

Yes, fortnatelly the Hollandia is still fairly common.

No mate, its a long story. HSV VR Caprice, that series came with three sunroof's - standardised in VS with the Hollandia 700. Mine came with a Golde which you cant get parts for. I found a Hollandia out of a VS, however, it came without a harness (which it looked like I needed to make)...

If it was a car I wasnt trying to keep fairly stock I'd probably so something more aggressive. Can't see a supercharger hanging off this one!

Thanks mate, great advice. Crow just came back with a recomendation for a 4503 as well. Will up the stall. Flat tops were always part of the plan - seems the good value ones are either Mace or Hypatech. Heads will get the love necessary to acheive my goals.

I'm thinking the heads will be cleaned up, shaved if needed to acheive desired compression, valve grind, retainers etc and basic roller rockers. I'll post up the journey. Plan for this week is to retint, and regas the AC (fitted a new condensor this weekend). Next week its getting a once...

Yes, its a standard-ish rebuild - trying to keep a very factory look and feel (with a little more go). The manifold needs to stay, albeit may modify - aware of the issues. I did wonder if the heads needed touching for this application.
