2013 VE Commodore. Drivers door window stuck. The drivers door window is stuck 2/3's the way up. Can hear a click like a relay in the dash but the window does nothing when the button is pressed. This should mean the switch is ok but the window motor/mechanism is knackered ?

What are good compression readings ? Will the compression test show up a burnt valve ? Or a leak down test is better ?

Can Tech2 laptop software allow you to adjust the idle rpm up a bit ? I'm interested to see if that will actually stop the misfire happening and turning off the stabilty control which then makes it run really rough.

A question.... Where is the EGR valve on the factory lpg LWR engine and where does it feed back into the intake side ? Near Cylinder 4 ?

Not sure why he disconnected it at the front, but I think the best option is pulling the bonnet release cable with a bit of hooked wire and reconnecting whatever he disconnected and hopefully the deadlock is released.

VE Commodore. Battery is disconnected. Can't get into the car. Even the manual key won't unlock it. The mechanic disconnected the battery to clear the ECU memory and he locked the car. Now he can't get into the car even using the key in the drivers side door. How do you unlock it ??? ;o)

Update on this.... the mechanic has replaced the MAF sensor, and now the rough idle/stability control off symptom isn't there any more BUT the check engine light still comes up and his scanner says 'park assist' is OFF. 30kms of driving and no engine misfire though!

What sort of voltage with the engine off and rested for 30 minutes ? Mine is 12.7V which on a lead acid SOC chart comes in at 70% SOC. This means the battery is in good condition, and you wouldn't think it needs replacing..

Hi MAK... I've got a 2013 LPG VE. It has similar symptoms to yours. Cyl 4 misfire 304 and stability control goes off while idling and runs rough as. A mechanic reckons it could be a burnt valve on cylinder 4. How much was it to get the burnt valve replaced ?
