Have done this the dodgy to my old Escort but it worked. Get 1 x black stocking, insert tail light into stocking as if it was a leg, refit tail light. Has a satin/matt effect and comes up ok. The small holes still allow the light to go through and if there is a problem with the law we all know...

I might be a bit pre-emtive here but....how about something cut to a ute like the pics of ephect BUT go for a 2 door coupe' style body with a butchered VZ Crewman tray to fit... NOW that's different...."COUPE CREWMAN" This is what im looking for....IDEAS....I would have never thought of this...

I totally agree. As most 4 door conversions the doors are made longer.

Just thinking of building something a little different, maybe a 4 seater with a short deck etc, tonner style. I have the engineering skills but just want feedback or pics if anyone has them.

I have seen a REALLY GOOD writeup done by someone on the forums about a push button start, with a downloadable file with all instructions. I got it a little while ago but now that I have a new computer the file is no longer there. Can anyone help me? Where is it?

I did have clears before the new front end and they are as easy as opening the bonnet and unlipping (no tools) every time you wash your car. NOTHING absolutely NOTHING worse than seeing a car with a bonnet protector and light gaurds full of leaves etc.

Spares are a 6", and Crewmans and VY & VZ's tradesman pack came with 7". Done my research and I am pretty sure thats 90% correct. And yes 6" spare.
