g'day, just curious to see if anyone is running adjustable sway bars on their car and if they are worth it. im planning to turn my ute into something that can handle (if its possible) and thought that the adjustables instead of the non adjustable sway bars are the go just to fine tune the characteristics of the car.

i know spring rates and the way the shocks are valved have a big affect on handling, as does wheel alignment, but i just wanna do the mod once, thats why im leaving the springs and shocks as how they are now until i get the $$ for good coil overs.

im leaning towards the adjustable 'bars, or is it a waste?

i fitted the pedders sways to my VR....i asked about the adjustables and was told that unless i was going to do some track work or had intentions of adjusting them continually for the street then there was little benefit over the same size non adjustables....i went with the latter and they still handle a treat....30mm front 20mm rear

waking up an old thread guys...
so i saw a vr/vs today and he had 20s on it and i asked about if it scrubs or camber much and this is his reply
" not with adjustable sway bars alls good"
i have a vt and we all know about the camber issue with them , and instead of changing the cradle to a VY's will adj sways help ?

and to the op my question is also the same as yours

He would have meant an adjustable panhard rod, aligns in the diff when you lower a live axle car. Not applicable to your car with IRS, but a camber kit will help.
