unplug the electrical connector to the abs module
OK, will try it for a week, and then report back.

OK, unplugged the cable, drove for a week. Not one 'attack' of the christmas tree crazies from it.
That means it has something to do with the connection between ABS and ECU.
But - how do I tell if the disconnected earth in the ABS solved it, or if the missing ABS not 'sinking' the ECU comms signal stopped the ECU from having hysterics?
In other words, do I replace the ABS, or replace the ECU?
Any ex-holden techie out there able to figure it out?
Thanks in advance, M.

you replace the abs electronic module
just get the number off the electronics
go to the wreckers and get matching unit
swap new electronic unit over, do not mess with hydraulic part
plug and play and away you go
