Hi guys. A couple of issues. Got an alarm on the dash....FUEL GAUGE ERROR, CONTACT RETAILER. Any ideas why and remedies please?

2nd Issue....on takeoff, there is a lull. Almost like ot will cut out, but then comes to life, and we are iff again.

We thought replace petrol pump + module. Mechanic looked and said hes not so sure thats the issue after taking it for a run. He did find the air intake hose had the biggest split in it. We replaced, but no change.

Mechanic has now recommended we do a fuel pressure test & still not convinced its the fuel pump yer.

Any thoughts n ideas be much appreciated, thank you

Testing fuel pressure is straight forward. Absolutely should be done.

However don’t get that it’s the fuel pump stuck in your head. The mechanic is right to check other things first.
