Jaycar fuel adjuster

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has used the jaycar fuel adjuster with the hand controller?I have a vn v8 with a c.o.m.e. cam and bigger injectors which came with a c.o.m.e. memcal but is running too rich. I was hoping to either lean off the mixture running the bigger injectors or fit the standard injectors and richen the mixture. How much adjustment is possible? Thanks for any information.

It won't work. The fuel is regulated by the PCM and needs to be tuned. The Jaycar thing is only an adjustable resistor and it will have an instant result, but the PCM will pick up the change and compensate for it anyway. You are best to get the memcal retuned to suit your set up. I think they can be read in real time but the memcal needs to be taken out and the new tune burnt into it.
