are L34 heads worth 400 bucks in crap condition? i.e. reco'able

am i better off sending my reco'able red heads to get bigger valves and port work?

are the ports differen shapes/sizes at all?

no not if u already have a set of heads u can do up! 400 bucks would be a good start on them! ports are the same the have just been machine for the bigger valves.
