The difference in plate costs state to state is amazing.

In QLD you would own those plates forever at $2k yeah?


In SA those plates would be $235 a year. Or if you added a digit you could make it

The advantage of owning the plates is if you have a set that are universally applicable they are easily resold , vehicle specific plates are also sought after , plates with names with no numbers used as letters are also a premium . It brings to mind the recent NSW first ever plate went to auction and was expected to get millions
EDIT : It also brings to mind a friend told me , that he knew people that would go out and buy vehicle specific plates before the model was released such as VFSSV then resell the plates for a profit

Hey everyone I'm chasing ideas for plates combos on my 92 s2 VP executive

I've got
SLWVP
SLWS2
SLW92
not sure what else haha

I do like a good personal plate.
I would like to see VP on there somehow. But what numbers to add to keep the price down??

The combination is required. When I have some more money to waste would like vhi 355 for my vh. memory is not's that good but that would cost me about $450. Should I use just numbers ot letters that would be over $2000
