what does sometimes plays up mean
wont go to bed on time, or doesnt pack up its toys
you want us to help you
how about you be concise with your problems

I guessed it. I was trying to rev you up. Some insight. The ECU must at some point have a connection or sensing point to both the fuel relay and the start relay. They must have their own ecu input because they rely on an analogue volt signal to be converted to digital. It would be convenient if the GM diagrams showed this connection point to where this voltage is sensed. Then you would know where to look for the volt drop.

and info that blackvxgts supplied to you
but again
what are your symptoms
how long have you owned this car
how long has it been faulting
manual or auto

Fixed at last. It was the alternator. I think there is I after start delay timer in the sensing CCT that looks at the voltage. Unfortunately every time I checked the charge voltage it was ok and the car functioned normally otherwise. Finally the alternator totally failed and after I swapped it out no more DTCs. Frustrating
