You should also start checking out the specials at Ripco /Superthief/online etc for a scanner/code readerI mean we’ve been going to the workshop for like maybe 15 years I wouldn’t say it’s shady, but can’t do much atm as it’s in the garage but once it out I will buy one for the future
FWIW I think I bought mine from Aldi for $50 on special and it does everything it's supposed to do.
Also I had a mechanic scan my car some time ago and tell me it was left front wheel sensor.
That's when I bought the $50 special from Aldi and scanned up O2 sensor
Replaced it and no more chimes from the dash
Scanner sits in the glove box until needed.
Just my 2 cents worth
