Hi
I have been doing some track day and love it. Now have a speed license and will try to get out every couple of months.
Leaning towards some Nankang AR1 on my spare stock 19x8.5s
Also see a few nice sets of 18 koya with Yokohama AD050
My current rims are 20x10 and 20x9 with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
The price between the Nankang and the Yokohama are almost double.
Also if I found a set of 18x10 and 18x9 I would not be able to get a size in the AR1 if I decided to change to these.
My main question is if I wanted to see how the AR1s go on my 19s would I still see a good gain in grip due to dropping width down to a 245 AR1 from a PS4S 285?
It would also drop the OD from 678 to 655
Cheers
