Speeding on the M1 (NSW)

I use the M1 from Sydney to Newcastle alot and depending on the time of day, there's so many people doing 130 (it's a 110 zone)
How do these people avoid getting pinged?

Aren't there alot of hidden cameras and cops on the M1?

I think (but cannot confirm) that multiple cars in one photo cannot be used as definitive evidence of a single car speeding.
So in heavy traffic when they are all speeding together, they somewhat have strength in numbers.

Up to you if you wish to test this or not.

That's an interesting suggestion.
* probably about $999.76 although I think there has been a couple of changes to fines and points in the last few years. Less dollars but more points, or more dollars and less points. Something like that. I guess they don't want too many people off the road with no licence because they would miss out on more opportunities to fine them. LoL.

There is only 2 fixed/signposted speed cameras but the highway patrol love to patrol and have lots of favourite spots to hide and spot you.
1 point for under 10 over.
I thought it was 2 points for 10 to under 20 over but just looked and no 3 points.
4 for over 20 , 5 for over 30 and so on.
Add another point if you're doing those speeds in a school zone.

The speed limit is 110. Drive at 110 and stop worrying about what others are doing.

Speeding is breaking the law.
