Be careful when your under there,
As the SRS plugs and connectors are under there also, however they are Yellow,
so DO NOT unplug any yellow connectors.
If you do get another BCM,
It will need to be programmed and linked to the Other onboard units.

And it should look like the attached image

Yeah there was some floods just over a few months ago
If there were floods and some water got into the interior of your car, which resulted in your BCM needing to be replaced, then expect other problems will crop up.

If that’s the case, I’d expect you’ll soon have issues with seatbelt tensioners, electrics in the lower part of the seat and any electronic function where the wires goes through a connector that sits low in the cabin and may have gotten water in it.

Why. cause corrosion is a bit h and causes problems for all things electrical.

In such cases you are better to go through insurance who may write your car off… It’s a problem many many people will be going through this year…

Hey mate, @envyiouscustoms will do a plug and play, if you send your old unit to them. I don't know anything about turn around times and l've not read any posts from people who have had one of their reprogrammed units installed. For $450 l would be giving them a call, more information about mechanical history and codes would be helpful.

Can anyone tell me we're the bcm is located in a 2007 ve. Also is it hard to get out and out back in
The bcm is mounted in a frame above the brake peddle and above the steering column very hard to get out and even harder to put it back in ! so good luck with it . If you decide to replace it you need to hunt one down with the exact same part number ! My VE is throwing up 6 abs,srs fault codes replacing the bcm did NOT fix it ! So you should make sure that it is faulty before you spend hours working for no good results !
