Vl clutch damper spring

Hi Gents, having issues with my Vl t5 conversion. Been searching everywhere but cannot seem to find out where you put the spring that comes with the clutch cable damper. If someone could please help because I’m seriously loosing the plot!!!

I‘ve done a T5 conversion in my VK & there isn’t a return spring in my set up.

Have not played with clutch setup since the HZ Tonner but I would think the spring would be to keep the clutch fork held back so the throwout bearing was not continually touching the pressure plate and therefore spinning for no reason.

Yeah I thought so, I have been looking everywhere and found no info. I’ll just leave it off if it works it works. Thanks legend’s!!
