VR v VS wiring diagrams

Can anyone tell me if there is a difference in wiring diagrams between vr and vs .I have a vr pmc and harness but only a vs diagram and the colours and pins don't seem to match up

Which engine V6 or V8?

V6 Very different. Different PCM's.

V8 different PCM but similar wiring.

Unfortunately I don't have VR wiring diagrams.

You're in luck, I do have the VR V8 PCM wiring diagram (just not the V6 one).

Totally different layout of the harness & engine bay plugs between vr & vs is why it looks alien to you.

vr goes through passenger side where vs goes drivers side more like a vt v8
