have solved the problem. after being imformed by all the local experts to remove heads because they were cracked etc. spoke to a radiator guy and he has cleaned more commodore radiators latley then he can remember. my radiator had 9 yrs of sludge and scale build up in side tanks. runs same as before only now no more boiling.thanks for your help guys. also radiator guy was saying it was unusual for a vs to blow head a gasket or ever crack a head.
