Hey having issues with my vx series 2 starting it doesn't start first try takes a few times I've replaced started motor, it's been mentioned to me if could be the computer as id I let the electrics sit for a minute turn the car of and start it it starts, but sometimes it also starts first go, someone has also mentioned that the ring around the ignition could be a issue is that possible?or could it be my ignition all together/key does need a little jiggle from time to time

Could be the -
Slip ring,
Key head,
actual ignition switch,
Starter motor,
Starter motor connections,
Ground connections,
DFI plug,
DFI,
CAS,

too mention a few items to think about.
(Being they are not in any order)

Get it scanned to see if there is any DTC's that may assist with fault finding.
(Live scan would be better)

Assume the replacement starter was new ????
If second hand then could still be a problem.

Also key needing a jiggle is not good..
