VY SS Wont Start All Of The Tome

Hey so my new VY ss commodore has come up with slip ring faults on scanner and I went to start the car and only heard a click after trying multiple times it finally turned on can any one help with this?

Slip Ring DTC/Faults will always appear in the "Not Active" History on a Commodore,
They are as common as Mags on a Monaro,

I am tipping your Starter Motor is due for replacement,
or
the connections/terminals to the Starter Motor are loose,
or
your Battery is due for replacement.

All depends on the K's its done ?
Is it the original Starter Motor ?
How old is the Battery ?
Do you have Extractors ?
Is the Heat Sheild Installed ?

Have you made sure that the slip ring is in constant contact with the electrode on the remote (the bit that sticks out the front of the remote in line with the buttons)?
You might need to (carefully) pry up the slip ring a little bit to ensure that this happens.
