  • Hi

I was just looking at an old thread you started regarding a vs revving to 2000rpm on start on taking 10-15 sec to return to normal. i'm having the same prob have checked for vacuum leaks changed throttle sensor and iac valve cleaned throttle body and still no joy. Its driving me nuts. Just wondering if you figured out what was causing it on yours. any help/suggestions would be much appreciated as after trying several different searches i keep coming back to the usual solutions
Hey sorry about the late reply,

I didnt have a press and simply got under my car and tapped it off with a hammer and common screw driver. Took lots of frustration and i would reccommend a press if you have one although ive never used one for anything it has to be better for your and the car's health. I didnt really know what i was doing but it took me a few hours from start to finish. Make sure you mark the shaft's orientation so it goes back together balanced when you put the two halves back together.

If you have any other questions feel free to message me. Hope this helped.
