You also need the HVAC box out of a VR/VS to line up with the vents. Not sure but the vents may be swappable? edit: the vents have to be swappable I put a VS HVAC in my VN now i think about it.

I wouldn't even bother with welsh plugs personally and that's the only one that you really cant do in car. Anything else like thermostat, temp sensors and stuff can be done later if you don't want to check/change them now.
