Guys i have a 2001 calais with an l67 supercharged! My question is as a rebuild on a l67 will cost more than $8500 and a secondhand stock 3.8 can be picked up for less than $2000, will the supercharger from the L67 go on a stock motor seemlessly?

I had a similar prob with my 2001 Calais with a custom exhaust and the noise was outrageous but I took to midas and they they custom fit anew one for $180 so they don't have to be expensive ide try looking a bit more or try the one you got with another exhaust company! hope that helps and sorry...

my air intake hose from throttle body to super charger is damaged and at present is held together with tape and apparently they are not available anywhere in world and are not available in cold air induction kits so if anyone can suggest an alternative ide really appreciate it! thanks in advance!
