Calais had it so if can find wiring & plugs for it should make life easier & add brake switch. If cable is short probably v8 item so make brake for anyway. Cant hurt to try....it's the one luxury item I'd like on my vp ute lol

Would need flares like an SLR 5000 as vn/p heaps narrower than vy model.....unless put vr/s guards on it which is wider. Only AWD setups seen were on vl models that used skyline gtr front setup...both were done very very differently last one was more of vl shell adapted to r32 floorpan etc

Back half of n/a 6cyl vl or last of vk series had b/w diff will work if you can find one cheap enough

Can you get some pliers on to end of cable ball inside car that used to be in pull handle? Vice grips & someone to push down on bonnet should do trick. Cable seized on my vk years ago had super long screwdriver somehow me & workmate popped it open...didn't help that tools were on guards...

Tefba filters are good...bought mine 20 something years ago put it on every new car build or flush then take it off again when no more crap in filter...some cars it would be a few weeks. Drain bolts in bottom of block...seen some blocked with mud or rust that nothing comes out after remove...

Fairly common if they had not had headlight relay kit fitted...we've had more than 10 of them in family but this is first one I've owned with melted fusebox & trashed wiring....this is my fourth or fifth definitely will be the last vk I build & own.

Vk wiring harness....they have brown wires that are also earths mixed in with brown that are not earth wires. Diagrams are in black & white....wiring goes round & round through harness just to end up at joiner with 5 other same coloured wires. The damaged & bodgey wiring by previous owners...
