i have the twin 2 1/4 setup with pace maker extractors & hiflow cats.
sounds ok (deep note) when revs are above 2600+ (so when takeing off at the lights),
and gains power ONLY if you have extractors.
i had the setup with no extractors for 6months so i felt the difference in power when i got them.
Cost me $500 for the catback + stepped tips + labour (cost me alot cause it had to be custom made for my car as its got a longer body.)
Extarctors pacemakers cost me a cheap $350, cats wer $250 each which i got ripped off with. + $150 labour.
all together $1250 but its worth it in the end. IMO i think it sounds great and i have also gained power.
In terms of sounds, the 2 1/4 IS NOT loud at all, and while ideling ud think its a stock exhaust.
overall i like it cause its legal and its not overly loud and droning.
