  • Fair enough.
Power wise I'm not sure of what it makes yet as I haven't had it on the dyno. Once I get the charger and intercooler installed I will get it dyno tuned, so I will see what it makes then.
I hope to go for about 9-10psi at the manifold and see what sort of power it makes.

If I was going to drive a ford it would be an XR6 turbo, but I do love the sound of a V8 :)

Now all you need to do is get that ford to handle well.
Well, I've been on you like a cat on a tin roof, not just about the LSD (I also never said that all V8's came out with LSD's as I know they didn't, I have recently found out that they made diffs with high performance tags that were not LSD's, so that was my bad) I was MAINLY questioning you with regards to what you said about your tuner tuning your car to rev lower in the final gear after a diff gear change!
Well, youve been on me like a cat on a tin roof & Im telling you that not all 3.07 are lsd. Mine does have that same tag WITHOUT the LSD on it. Intelligence!!! didnt u originally ask me if i knew what the difference was between the Open centre & a LSD....come on bud Im no mechanic!! Im simply explaining what exp ive had with my vehicle. Whatsmore I stand by my statement....NOT all v8's have LSD as factory.....mine was proof....when I bought it NEW it was always a single pegger ALWAYS & my cousin has a VT Calias with the LS1 & it still has the single pegger & it still has the same tag as mine did (High Performance) as plain as day & certainly no LSD written on it . So it looks like ur speaking from exp too with ur vehicle. I guess there not all the same?
How about you post that video's link up to the other people on this forum, that told you you were wrong as well!
If you want to go to so much effort and are willing to make a video to post on you tube to prove me wrong, you will be willing to call up the guy that tuned your car and get him to explain to you how he did what he supposedly did?

The VX may be different than the VT, I assumed it wouldn't be as the VX is 95% the same as a VT!
My car is fitted with a 3.08:1 ratio open diff. I have in the shed a 3.07:1 LSD about to be put in, I thought they would be the same diff in the VT and VX models but the VT may be the BW78 and the VX may be the BW80. Is your diff a BW78 or a BW80?

Also don't insult my intelligence I know how to jack a car up and see if it is fitted with an LSD or not.
