That sux. Even though mine is a second hand car, i think cos they were able to see the codes last year, they were able to get it booked in and done. The crap part was, when i got it serviced, i mentioned this issue and they HAD to charge me a diagnostic fee of a hundred or so bucks to confirm...

I was lucky. Warranty ran out early this month and had thermostat & sensor replaced January

No problems. It connected up to my iphone without any hassles.

Does anyone on this thread know if it’s ok to drive the car until I can get it fixed?

Thanks for input peeps. Ended up with the Ottocast. Works like a dream. Also using the Quadlock wireless charging system. So much better not having to plug anything in any more.

HI there. Bought a Carlinkit 4.0 wireless dongle for the ZB and followed all instructions but can't seem to get it to work. Even when the green light on the dongle is flashing, the touch screen is frozen. I did see on a youtube video on this device that they mentioned 'make sure your iphone's...

I thought I checked that. Fuse looked fine. I replaced it just then and it all seems to be working again. Thanks heaps for the help

Nope, no power to the orange. I traced it back to the harness (2xred wires) and no power there. I’ve checked the fuse box near the battery and the 30amp trailer fuse is intact. Any suggestion as to where the fault may be. Appreciate your help on this

Didn’t check that one. Just the green,yellow, brown & red. Will I just need to turn the car on? What does the orange wire do?

Everything looks ok to me. i've disconnected it for now. Looking at wreckers for a 2nd hand unit. I take it, it's not safe to bypass it?

Should be able to. I can disconnect harness on the power side and undo the trailer wires from the other. The top slides off it so you can see the circuit board. I’ll get to it today sometime and take a pic. Anything I need to be looking for?

Hi there. My trailer lights stopped working & using a tester traced a fault back to the TAG trailer ECU. Power goes in but not out. Can these be fixed or should they be replaced?

Thanks. I only mentioned that amount cos some of the old posts I found were throwing around the $450 to $550 quotes. Someone even had a link to a new one for $500. I’ll do some more googling. Also it’s a 2012 Z series which is a series 2 I think
