    Steering wheel vibrates when braking

I am intrigued by this 'Pad Material left on the rotor' theory. Like, REALLY? The pad polishes the living snot outta the rotor surface, if any pad material is 'Left' on the rotor, it's gonna be buffed off the pad in the very next revolution, if centrifugal forces don't get to it first Who...

Keys and key fobs for VF series cars

Got broken into this morning, and 1 key each for our 2 WN Caprices got hoisted, teenage thieves. Cops asked us to take steps to secure the cars (Blocking in with another). I spoke to HCC to find out if a keyfob can be disabled, either by them or via the car, sadly, no. Also suggested an idea...

Sudden Loss of Power Steering WHEN DRIVING

It's not a faulty rack design, the problem is to do with the electrical connector where the harness plugs into the rack, the connector has to be cleaned, regreased with special dielectric grease. It's a standing recall, and takes about 30 mins to do, altho if your dealer is like mine, they want...

    Repair WM Caprice HID headlight?

Old thread, but, your electrician is an idiot. New lamp ($157) and a new Ballast ($135) were the most that were needed, and both can be replaced separately Both can be had out of China for a lot less too

    VF/WN TPMS Stupidity

TPMS 'caps'? The sensor is actually attached to the inside end of the valve stem. When installed, the wheel looks like it has a regular rubber tubeless valve stem, the metal ones were used in VE/WM cars Regardless, when I got my sensor trigger tool, I had full working TPMS, 4 wheels, both cars...

VF Holden Commodore Issues and Faults

The only solution that was found was that the fuel pump itself was allegedly kaput. funny that the first replacement lasted a whole 4 days. I don't see why your problem would be a hot-engine-only event, because the story goes that the Secondary Open description relates to a fault within the pump...

    Wheels with baby moons

I have a VS project car. The steel wheels don't have hubcap nubs. I wanna put baby moon hubcaps on. The hubcaps I have are the same diameter as the topmost part of the raised rib around the wheelnuts recess. Discuss
