Can anyone give me the specs for a VS ute tonneau support bar? Someone has replaced mine with a flat bar and it doesnt lift the cover up high enough to keep it taught.

My young bloke removed the tailgate from his ute to have it repaired and has lost the bolts that fix it to the hinges. Wreckers have none and Holden don't list them anymore. Are they the same as VY-VZ ones? I don't recall them being countersunk screws like on H series utes/ vans. Any photos...

I need to purchase door rubbers, bailey channel rubbers and inner and outer weatherstrips for an HZ ute. Can anyone recommend a decent kit? There seems to be a fair few different ones available. I want something half-decent.

Worth sacrificing the VE, I think. Tiny rust spot just behind right rear wheel arch. Solid floors, plenum and sills. Radio delete dash blank, no aerial and all original books. What a find.

Yep, stripped a vz crewman of some good bits. Unfortunately, don't have space to store whole ute Since then it's been under 6 ft of water so electrical and mechanical stuff no good.

Everything repaired now. Window mechanisms from VZ wagon installed. A bit quieter now with new rear muffler but still sounds alright...and legal. Now to get started on the cosmetics....if project VE doesnt keep costing me dollars.

If the water pump was replaced by holden (the dealership formerly known as..) 1500 km ago, wouldn't the coolant have been changed then?

Ok. I must be getting closer to ironing all tje bugs out of this one but it seems to be the gift that keeps on giving.. Last week i started to hear a bubbling sound in the top radiator hose when the motor was hot. Temp gauge within normal parameters. Replaced radiator cap with genuine new one...

Scanned today. Yep, 02 sensor. All being replaced on Thursday.
