Can anyone give me the specs for a VS ute tonneau support bar?

Someone has replaced mine with a flat bar and it doesnt lift the cover up high enough to keep it taught.

Looking at mine, the bar is 8.6 mm diameter rod. The crest of the curve is 75 mm above the sides when it is pushed down into the holders. Even then the single bar will only keep the cover taught when it is new. Once a bit of stiching goes, it will not hold up under heavy rain. I have a few orange traffic cones underneath it for extra support.

When I had my VR I bought two aftermarket support bars. They are adjustable and it means you get very little sag between the bar and the tailgate at 100kph. The single bar is useless when on the highway even with a new tonneau.

I've got 2 bars splitting it up into 3rds.
They are solid (not adjustable) and are 2 different lengths.
I can get the lengths tomorrow if you like, they do flex a bit to push up the tonneau.

I used the adjustable after market ones and liked them. I used them on the crewman and the VP ute.

Measures mine up for the 2 bars across.

1475 centre to centre on the front one.
1455 centre to centre on the rear.
Goes into the turf tonneaus holders so 8mm or so round bar.
Ends are 50mm depth and has a leather type cover on them where the tonneau would rub on them.

Hope that makes sense.

If you're ever in North Tasmania I have a spare pair off a VE that could be made to work.
