  • hey mate, i dont have the auto boot anymore but it was piss easy hahaha all i did was get 2 struts, ( same as the existing ones on the boot but lighter so not as powerful) The strut joins onto the metal right angle piece at the same pivot point on frame of the boot as the existing strut. From there it goes down onto the floor of the boot then on a bit of flat metal so you dont dint your boot then joins onto a piece of metal about 40cm long. This piece of metal extends up to the curved arms on the boot lid fram and bolts on, so when you close it, you are compressing the struts, therefore when you releace the latch on the boot they uncompress and the boot pops open. i can prob get some pics together or something if you need, let me know
