I found your post about the BTR 0578-026908 rear axel while researching the one retrofitted in my ‘53 morgan. Did you ever identify the donor vehicle? I’m looking for a 3.7 or 3.5 ring and pinion.
I was googling around to try and find out what kind of gearbox is sitting in my garage (in order to advertise it for sale) and looked up the old ebay ad that I bought it through.. although the ad was long gone the title remained and when i plugged it into google I got your advert :
I still have the engine sitting in my shed ready for installing.
But the gearbox is no good to me and before I advertise it for sale can you tell me whether you had used it yourself or was it in any car you had used or what valiant/hemi is it from.. anything you can help with would be appreciated.
