Yeah you are 100% right with needing the right tuner big shout out to Jamie at Forced performance. Internally I have done camshafts, timing chains, lifters and rockers. The tuner needs to really understand cam phasers.

My obd2 has mileage monitoring and it is usually 0.1 to 0.2 difference between the trip computer but you have to reset for the road and inclination or decline

Just trip computer when reset the first reading is usually the most accurate and my trip computer has been accurate to the klms. Especially with good speed sensors my ve has no fault codes and is usually plugged into my code reader for klms and they both read the same

Yeah definitely cause I had 2.92 gears originally and it was around 11.9 to 12.4. Mods definitely help fuel economy until the foot goes down its a great reason to mod lol

I did notice the change with the bolt ons it was worth it just get a good tuner on it my first one was not that good cam phasing is tricky. Anything past 2800rpm it's like a stock 6ltr v8 Anything past 3200rpm to 7000rpm you can almost watch the gauge drop lol.

Ly7 is 10.2:1 if go the haltech I should probably get 2 tunes loaded not sure yet

My tuner said with the haltech elite he will be able to use the manifold pressure fed straight to the ecu and there won't be any need for the maff/map which will be great

I'm sorry but not on the series 1 ly7 very rudimentary setup. It would have made it much easier and capa performance failed to mention prior to me purchasing the supercharger. I have spent many hours wishing I did it to a series 2.

Not for the series 1 it is a map and maff incorporated together in a section of pipe with mesh on each and and unable to remove the sensor from its housing

That's what set it up for to start with thinking just run maffless like the series 2 and the v8s but no luck won't run without it unfortunately
